Selin Türkü, versatile digital illustrator who explores their creative process through personas; CTZ and Selût.
Working across graphic design, illustration, 2D animation and audio-visual storytelling. Their practice grows from everyday encounters, curiosity and experimentation, exploring how visuals, sound and performance can create immersive experiences.
As the performer and director of the project Selût, they lead one of the first fully independent, all-woman virtual band initiatives from Turkey with an international reach. A project that combines live performance, animation and digital world-building to question fixed identities and amplify voices that are often overlooked, guided by a commitment to feminism, fluidity in identity, and freedom of expression.
Selût has performed at venues such as Zorlu PSM and Volkswagen Arena as part of local and international festivals, while under the name CTZ they have directed visual and editorial projects for clients including Converse, GQ Magazine, and Cosmopolitan. They continue to approach projects with a mindset of experimentation and hands-on exploration, drawing inspiration from radical commercial ideas, human craftsmanship, and the power of community. Through detailed illustration, immersive soundscapes and carefully crafted atmospheres, Selût creates experiences that are intimate, surreal, and unapologetically honest.
Currently pursuing their master’s degree at the Royal College of Art in London.​​​​​​​
