Mamut Art 2020 Exhibition - The Conscioussness Cosmicnutz’ (Selin Türkü Birben) ongoing series The Consciousness takes its name from the artist’s mode of production. The artist puts her experience straight into her work without the use of intermediaries like sketches, and creates a world by combining people who have influenced her greatly with the objects surrounding her. The mimics and movements of the characters in her work are core elements of their jobs, which are reflections of their experiences. Cosmicnutz chooses to depict the characters in her work in stark nudity to convey her feelings in the purest form, and uses a color pallette that appears monochrome due to an optical illusion.
